Electric traction motors move the vehicle. An onboard generator produces energy for the battery and drive system, supporting longer, more dependable travel.
Gas-electric designation
EG identifies VARLINE and AETHER vehicles that combine electric propulsion with onboard gas-powered energy generation.
Battery-only designation
EV is reserved only for models that operate as genuine battery-only electric vehicles.
